Save all of Europe from the zombies
Dead Empire: Zombie War is a free strategy mobile video game wherein you have to fight off hordes of invading zombies created to overwhelm your nation. Developed by tap4fun, this 3D isometric game is a real-time war strategy title similar to other war games. You have to train units, upgrade buildings for resources, and set off to fight against AI opponents. It also has a multiplayer mode, letting you compete against other players.
The beauty still left in this world
In Dead Empire: Zombie War, the story is set in the late modern period wherein war is raging across all of Europe. However, unlike in most strategy war games, the opponents to be crushed here are evil zombie forces. You play as a Commander from your chosen country, who must prepare powerful troops to fight back against the deadly invaders. To do so, you must first recruit Officers from the gacha system.
These Officers are fully-voiced female characters you can recruit and deploy alongside your army to gain specific bonus stats to help you win in battle. This is made easier by the game’s free control system, allowing you to command multiple troops and their every move. Plus, at the start of the game, you can choose a country with the unique combat trait you desire—and you can later switch countries if you want.
The gameplay is easy enough to grasp, thanks to the extensive tutorial. Aside from combat, you also have to employ some tactics to woo your numerous beautiful Officers. You can hang out with them at the Bar to raise their Trust Level. If you’re getting tired of AI enemies, you can also try to fight against real players by joining Guilds. However, building up resources can take so long and the difficulty scales pretty quickly.
Doesn’t have to be single-player
All in all, Dead Empire: Zombie War is a nice strategy mobile game for any player who wants to see a mash-up of war games, zombies, and beautiful characters you can collect and create bonds with. While there are some issues that you may encounter—such as resources taking too long at higher ranks and even just the text not matching the voiceovers—it’s a solid enough game to try out if you’re getting bored of other similar titles.
