A free creature catching and collecting game

Zookemon is a free game that you can play on a mobile device. You explore a territory within the game and capture a variety of wild animals. Team up with the creatures you capture and use your team to defeat and capture other creatures. You can also heal up your creatures to make them more effective.

Obviously inspired by the Pokémon games, this catch them all game also has creatures you can capture and team up with. You can also capture legendary creatures, which are the same as regular ones except they have better statistics. It is similar to TemTem except without the online multiplayer features.

How do I unlock larger areas?

You have to grind your way up so that you can open up bigger areas. As you progress, you earn more coins, which allows you to unlock lower-cost areas. As you farm for coins, you unlock more areas, allowing bigger areas to be opened up.

Is it procedurally generated?

Though this game would be perfect for procedural generation, it is actually a static game. This means you can repeat your gameplay experience almost exactly every time. There is no story mode, so the game is all about the hunt, the taming, and the battling.

Needs more polished mechanics

Having several creatures battle other creatures is a nice game mechanic that would have worked well if the fights were not so skewed in the players’ favor. There are no tactics or planning in this Pokémon-like game; you just point your team at the enemy and attack them.

The adverts interrupt gameplay

This is a free creature battling and creature capture game that is supported by adverts. However, the adverts interrupt gameplay by appearing before fights, after fights, and during the exploring process. Them randomly appearing is very immersion-breaking.
