A free clash and battle game with idle resource gathering

Zombie Merge Master is an idle RPG game that lets you build an army of zombies to defeat even more dangerous groups of enemies. The combat system is similar to an RTS game mixed with a tabletop battling game. Summon and command your units to win battles against the enemy.

As the day progresses, you gather resources, even while the game is inactive. You then collect your rewards and resources similar to how you collect them in Fallout Shelter. The rest of the game is similar to Clash of Clans, except that you don’t build structures. Instead, you create creatures and weapons to fight your battles.

The weapons merge system

This board battle game tries to differentiate itself from the Clash of Clans of the world with its unit creation method. You merge the weapons you find with your army recruits to create new units. This means your troop creation process is limited by how many types of resources you have.

Heroes and upgrades

As you play the game, you unlock more heroes, or you can pay to unlock them right away. You may also upgrade your army using credits and leveling experience. You can opt into battles, but you lose your troops on the board if you lose a battle.

Very similar to other games

The features of this idle game are pretty basic — you simply click to unlock your daily rewards. The graphics are very basic, and many of the game’s features were lifted from bigger and more popular games.

Seems a little shallow

The game doesn’t have a lot of content — it just has a lot of options. The auto-battling feature doesn’t add a tactical edge. The actual gameplay loop is very short and repetitive. Though, it doesn’t seem overly rushed because the style and design remain very consistent throughout the game.
