Zombie Lane for Android lets you protect your home against a constant onslaught of zombies. Power up, rebuild, and shoot your way way to become king of your lane.

The premise is simple: your neighborhood has been infested by zombies and you and a couple of survivors are challenged with defending your house and surviving. Tap to where you want to go and tap on zombies to engage them in combat. There are a ton of different weapons, while Zombie Lane keeps gameplay fresh by letting you craft new weapons. Flaming boxing gloves are particularly entertaining.

Zombie Lane rewards players with coins, cash, and energy. You need energy to do anything in this game, including harvesting materials from rubble. This means you have to conserve your energy for battles and rebuilding your home if you don’t want to fork over real money for in-game cash and energy. In app purchases are how Zombie Lane makes its money. The good news is that you can gain energy even when you aren’t playing.

While Zombie Lane is fun for the most part, its constant nagging to buy things gets annoying. Players are also constantly bombarded with tips, new missions, and other activity which can be very distracting.

Overall, Zombie Lane is a great, free to play zombie survival game with many RPG elements. We only wish the game was less nagging.
