Rip Blu-Ray discs for use on other devices

Instead of an all in one solution, Xilisoft Blu-Ray to DVD Converter actually contains two applications. There’s a Blu Ray Ripper and DVD creator. Both are fairly simple programs, and not difficult to use.

Xilisoft Blu-Ray to DVD Converter’s Blu-Ray component allows you to load the HD discs, or files, and then convert them to any of a wide range of video formats. There are preset conversion profiles, for specific devices, or conversion settings can be made manually. There is a preview window, bu no editing suite.

The DVD creation application in Xilisoft Blu-Ray to DVD Converter allows you to add files you have ripped from Blu-Ray, and burn them to a DVD. Again, it’s a really simple program, and makes burning a DVD with a menu really easy.

The main problem with Xilisoft Blu-Ray to DVD Converter is that it is split in two. While this means the package is quite flexible, it needlessly makes the conversion between Blu-Ray and DVD longer than necessary.

Xilisoft Blu-Ray to DVD Converter does what it says, and is really easy to use, it’s just a shame there are two applications instead of one.
