An open-world racing game for mobile devices
XCars Street Driving is a free game for mobile devices. It is an open-world racing game with an emphasis on realistic racing. To that end, it features impressively detailed graphics for a mobile game, as well as realistic car physics, though likely not realistic enough to class the game as a racing sim.
The open-world racing aspect of the game draws obvious comparisons to games like Forza Horizon 5 and Burnout Paradise Remastered, a classic title in this genre. However, XCars Street Driving is not quite as grand in scope due to the limitations of mobile device hardware.
Race around an open world
XCars Street Driving features a dynamic, open world with weather and day/night cycles. The world in question is a fictional place known as Sunset City.
It contains a variety of different areas to race around in, from highway-style roads to small side streets. There is also plenty of traffic on the roads, adding to the challenge of racing around the streets without colliding.
Physics and upgrades
The game features realistic car physics, though likely not realistic enough to be classed as a true racing simulator. Damage on the vehicles is modeled, but it can feel a little inconsistent at times. Throughout the course of the game, the player will earn money from races and can use that money to buy new cars.
An impressive racing game for mobile devices
Fans of racing games who would like a high-quality game to play on the go should take a look at XCars Street Driving. It is not perfect, with inconsistent damage modeling and repetitive music, but it features solid car physics and impressive graphics.
