WordFish: A Fun Word Matching Game for Chrome

WordFish is a free Chrome add-on developed by joshuadonnelly. It is a brain training game that allows users to fish for words from any webpage they visit. Once installed, WordFish appears as a “PurpleFish” icon in the top right corner of the Chrome browser.

To play WordFish, simply click the purple icon while browsing a webpage to fish for words and their definitions from that page. Right-click on any of the terms to search for their definition using Bing. Once you have found four words and their definitions, click on the “PLAY” button. The objective is to match the words with their respective definitions by clicking on the word and then its definition.

The game is designed to improve your vocabulary and word recognition skills. After completing a game, you can right-click on a definition to open the Wikipedia page where it was found. Alternatively, you can click elsewhere on the screen and continue browsing.
