WHOOP Performance Optimization is a free iPhone app that requires a WHOOP wearable to function. The app tracks Sleep, Strain, Recovery, and health biometrics 24/7, providing personalized coaching based on your goals to help you achieve your best performance. WHOOP captures your biometrics 24/7 to calibrate specifically to your body’s unique physiology, recommending everything from when to go to bed to what behaviors to adopt to help you reach your goals.

The app provides you with detailed insights into your daily routine. WHOOP calculates your sleep performance every night and wakes you up with a sleep score from 0 to 100%. The app’s Sleep Coach feature also alerts you when you should go to bed to optimize your performance the following day. WHOOP measures your physical and mental stress throughout the day and calculates a daily Strain score ranging from 0 to 21. You can also track the impact of over 140 daily habits and behaviors, like alcohol intake, medication, stress, and more, to better understand how these various behaviors help or hurt you.
