Weather Personal Widget: Your Personal Weather Station on Your Home Screen
Weather Personal Widget is a widget that displays weather information on your home screen. It requires a personal weather station and a program like Weather Display to generate a clientraw.txt file, which is then uploaded to a web server. The widget reads the file to display weather information.
To configure, simply click on the temperature in the upper left corner. You can choose the temperature units (Celsius or Fahrenheit), wind speed units (kts, m/s, km/h, mph), barometer (hPa, in/hg), rain (mm, in), feels like (apparent, humidex, windchill, heat index), background/text color and transparency, text size, and display of an icon for the forecast/current conditions. You can also set the icon transparency, auto-update when the device is unlocked, periodic update, URL of the file to download, and file type (clientraw.txt or yowindow.xml).
The small chart behind the temperature displays the temperature in the last hour, with the limits of the graphic being the hi/lo temperature of the day. The widget supports http and https protocols.
Please note that this is NOT an application, but a widget that you need to add to your home screen after installation. If you want to discuss the widget, you can visit the Weather-Watch forum.
