I find this to be an awesome feature of the game and something that will definitely improve your game play experience. There are two ways to get your own Travel Lantern: either buy one at the merchant or make your own at home. You can purchase one at any of the two main places where you can get a hold of them: at the guild hall in Windhold or at the Grayzag grove in Wintergrasp. Both of these places sell different types of lanterns and should have different styles available for purchase or crafting.

Once you have your lantern, you will need to learn how to make it so that you can wear it in game. There are a lot of great resources available on the internet that you can use to make your own Wearable Lanterns that you can put on your person and light up any area in the game that needs it. There are also many tutorials and walkthroughs on the internet that can help you make the best lanterns and other things easily. Just download and install wearable lanterns as stated above using a mod manager, then hook it up to your character, preferably using a Hook or unequip it when not in use, then start playing.
