Zombie-themed FPS game for PC
Walking Zombie 2 is a free-to-play action title for PC made by developer Alda Games. It’s a zombie-themed FPS game that mixes open-world exploration with crafting and survival elements in its core gameplay. It also features distinct polygon graphics for its design and presentation.
Just like with Guncraft, Walking Zombie 2 uses polygon art style to offer a unique experience. It’s both gruesomely charming and undeniably humorous at the same time. It comes with plenty of game content, as well as a premium DLC to unlock and gain access to exclusive perks and bonuses.
What is the game about?
In Walking Zombie 2, the world has been hit by a zombie apocalypse and basically places you during the aftermath when the undead has pretty much overrun the entire globe. You’ll constantly be fighting for your survival against waves of the dead, horrific abominations, and even some of your fellow survivors as you journey and traverse through this desolate and deadly wasteland you call home.
This is a first-person shooter through and through, and it shows from the moment you start playing. It features plenty of quests and missions that will have you blast through countless undead with an assortment of weapons and gear that you craft or discover. There’s also a Karma System wherein your good or bad deeds will dictate what paths or encounters you’ll have throughout the game.
What’s more, you’ll level up as you progress and be able to improve your stats, upgrade skills, and unlock perks and bonuses to help you for tougher battles ahead. Before diving in, do note that this game is a single-player affair. As such, it does lack any form of online multiplayer, which arguably would have made it much more fun to play with friends.
A bloody good time
Overall, if you’re a fan of zombie shooters, give Walking Zombie 2 a try. It’s fun and fast-paced, offers plenty to do and weapons to try out, and its polygon-style graphics help it stand out a bit more from other similar titles in the genre. An online multiplayer mode would have been nice, but aside from that, this is highly recommended.
