Beat Nonsense in this FNF mod
VS Nonsense – Friday Night Funkin’ Mod is a free utility software developed for the Friday Night Funkin’. As the name suggests, it is a mod that brings new content to the popular music rhythm game. Here, Boyfriend—with Girlfriend as a cheerleader—will face a new opponent through four original songs.
Like other FNF mods, VS Nonsense – Friday Night Funkin’ Mod will use the same gameplay as the original title. Only this time, the game will have plenty of voice-acted cutscenes. Moreover, the cutscenes will vary depending on your accuracy in matching the arrows on the screen and the beat.
What makes the mod different?
Friday Night Funkin’ is a game that has been in the spotlight since its release. Not only that, but with its easy-to-modify functions, it has been open to modding from independent developers. To date, there are dozens of mods about the game that fans can download. However, almost all of them have the same formula. Add new songs and bring in a new character for Boyfriend to beat.
VS Nonsense is yet another FNF mod that fans can download and play. As mentioned, it brings in a new opponent for Boyfriend named Nonsense. Here, Boyfriend and Girlfriend barged in on Nonsense’s home and challenged him in a rap battle. Unable to sway them to leave, Nonsense has no other option but to accommodate them. Players can then play through four original tracks.
Unlike other mods, however, this app comes with voice-acted cutscenes. These cutscenes can appear between songs or inside them. And based on your accuracy, you can get good or bad cutscenes. There is also an additional track titled Nonsensical available on the Freeplay mode. However, the biggest change is the chill Boyfriend packing heat and bringing a gun. He actually shoots Nonsense, who—for some reason—doesn’t care about it.
Is the game good?
VS Nonesense – Friday Night Funkin’ Mod extends the content of the original title. It brings a new character to beat and original tracks to the already popular game. Not only that, but it offers voice-acted cutscenes that vary depending on your performance. Don’t worry, though. It still has the same DDR-like mechanics, so playing it will be easy, especially if you are a long-time player.
