A Fun Arcade Game Where You Play a Hungry Frog
VRog is a fun game where you play a frog who is having its fair share of fun in its favorite pond. You would be leaping across the nicely designed, small lake and find things to eat. Catching insects would earn you points, but stay away from those wicked wasps.
Game Premise
As aforementioned, you would be cast as a small green frog who would be hopping between lily pads, eating different flying bugs, and avoiding itself from getting eaten by the bad storks. There are a couple of playing modes: arcade and survival; and the game’s primary menu graphically explains you the rules. In arcade, you would be running against the clock. A 90-second time limit would be set to score the maximum points possible by chomping on the good bugs. You must steer clear of the insects that cause penalties and build up combo scores. The survival mode breaks the game down into multiple stages. You must score a particular number of points in a stage to advance to the next level.
Bugs and Scoring
The consumable bugs are mosquitoes and ladybirds. Eating a mosquito would increase your score; eating a wasp would render your targeting reticle difficult to control momentarily. Chomping down ladybirds would enhance your night vision in the game. The cartoony visuals are well-animated, and all the action happens in the pond. Not to mention, the bold graphics create an impressive art theme. The game is ideal for kids, especially children under 12. Adults may choose to help kids play with their VR headsets.
