A VPN (Virtual Private Network) is a protocol for transferring information across a public network (e.g. the Internet) without being noticed by anybody. It works like a regular network connection, but instead of using an IP address, the sender and receiver use a unique, private IP address. This makes it impossible for anybody to track what you are doing online, and the data is encrypted to make it even harder for the third party to see what you are doing online.
VPNs are used by businesses, governments, and organizations to ensure the privacy and security of their network. They are also used to hide the IP address of a user so that their activities can’t be tracked on the Internet.
VPNs are used by the most popular social networks to ensure the privacy and security of their users’ data. For instance, Facebook, Twitter, Google, YouTube, and many more use a VPN to encrypt the traffic between their servers and the users’ devices.
