Access your communication apps quickly

It’s amazing how there are so many different apps available for communicating with people. However, this surplus of apps can lead to a surplus of problems as well. For example, keeping track of all of them can be a massive pain in the neck. Video Call is a communication tool offered by Forbis that provides users with a way to resolve this issue by giving them quick and easy access to all of their apps. The question is, do they succeed in their objective.

Objective and Presentation

As stated above, the primary objective of Video Call is to give users a quick way to access all of their communication apps. The Video Call app’s interface only has the icons of those various social network apps and clicking on them would open the app in question. The interface is divided into two sections: installed apps and recommended apps, both of which are quite self-explanatory. Having talked about the presentation of the app, let’s move on to whether or not it succeeds and if it is worthwhile to download.

Superfluous

If there is one word that comes to mind when thinking about this app, it’s superfluous. There is really no need to waste precious space on your device to install this when its basic function can be done by arranging your apps on your phone.

What’s even worse is that it doesn’t detect some of the apps that you have installed. Instead, some apps that are already installed on your device would be listed in the recommended section and clicking on it would redirect to where the app can be downloaded.

But the worst thing about it is the fact that clicking on a communication app would usually prompt an ad first. You have to click on the icon again to open the app.

Just Arrange Your Icons Yourself

Video Call had one job, and it couldn’t even do it without putting an ad first. It may be a minor problem to some, but since this app is all about making it easier to access apps, wasting time on an ad that takes up the whole space before letting users access the app they need is a deal breaker. Just keep your social media apps together in an easy to reach place in your device and you won’t need this at all.
