A free hidden-object game with a safari park theme
Vacation Adventures: Park Ranger 2 is another in the Park Ranger click-and-find series where you have to find hidden objects in stationary pictures. It would be a highly rated game if all the levels were free, but only the first few levels are free.
A reasonably safe game to play with your kids
Vacation Adventures: Park Ranger 2 is not an exciting game, but one may find these types of hidden-object game more fun if you are playing with other people. The theme and the difficulty of the game lends itself quite well to playing with children. It is still taxing enough for adults to enjoy the experience too. The artwork is vibrant and the game is fair. They do not allow you to spam-tap everywhere, and they do not hide objects with poor or blurry lines. The only difficult thing be the game is that they often expect you to find very small objects, such as a pen, but they do not make it unfair by putting it somewhere where a pen shouldn’t go (such as hanging from a light fixture).
Harmless, pedestrian, and inoffensive
One could criticise how the artwork is a little too cartoony, or how some of the objects have been shaded in a dull manner. However, the game itself is harmless and inoffensive enough to weather any criticism. If you are a fan of hidden-object games, then the only thing that should concern you is that it advertises itself as a free game, but it doesn’t let you play all the way through without paying for the levels.
