Save your progress with this mod
Unlimited Saving – Kingdom Come: Deliverance Mod is a game utility developed by Nexus Mod. This free app works as a mod for the medieval game Kingdom Come: Deliverance. As it says on the tin, it allows players to save their progress anytime, anywhere.
The Unlimited Saving mod lets you save your game without using your Savior Schnapps. However, you have to have at least one of these potions to use the mod. Moreover, you cannot save during cutscenes or similar. And as with other game mods, patches for the vanilla game could render this app unusable.
What is Unlimited Saving mod?
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an action roleplaying game that takes players to medieval times. The game highlights ultra-realism and authenticity, resulting in popularity among RPG fans. However, one of the resulting quirks of its premise is that you cannot save your progress whenever you want. Instead, you must consume a potion called Savior Schnapps, which is expensive and can cause addiction to the protagonist.
Thankfully, the game allows modding, and one modder come up with a brilliant solution. The Unlimited Saving mod enables you to save your progress anytime you want, without depleting your Savior Schnapps. Once you add the mod file to your Mods folder, you can save the game whenever you want. However, ensure that you use the Escape key menu and save the game that way.
Players should also note that there are points where you cannot save the game no matter what. These include the start of the game and cutscenes. Moreover, while it does not deplete your potion, you need at least one Savior Schnapps to save the game. However, make sure not to drink the Schnapps as it will still use the potion.
Is the mod good?
Saving in Kingdom Come: Deliverance is not simple. But with the Unlimited Saving mod, the process is made a lot easier. With this added, you can save anytime you want—provided it is not a cutscene. Moreover, you can do so without editing the files or using your precious Savior Schnapps. Although, there is a chance that future patches for the base game could mess it up.
