Free MMO modification software bundle

Underhell Mod is a free downloadable software bundle that is intended to be used in conjunction with the original Half-Life 2 game. This modification provides various upgrades and a host of UX improvements.

The Underhell Mod was originally released as far back as 2011, and since this time, developers have continued to offer upgrades. Note that this bundle contains Underhell Chapter One, plus an improved remake of the prologue.

A classic Source Engine mod

Due to the age of this software, it was originally meant to be used with Source Engine. Therefore, users will first need to have SDK Base 2007 already installed, but no additional sources or games will be required.

One interesting feature of the Underhell Mod is that the domain players can experience is actually larger and more immersive than the original Half-Life 2 bundle. This should attract users who are already keen to delve deeper into the entire series.
