Twitter Thanks: A Simple Plugin to Thank Your Twitter Followers

Twitter Thanks is a simple plugin developed by @PlayingCats that allows users to express gratitude to their Twitter followers. This free Chrome extension aims to make it easier for users to acknowledge their followers by automatically generating a tweet with a personalized message.

To use Twitter Thanks, simply right-click and edit the settings. Then, navigate to your Twitter followers page and click on the extension button. The plugin will identify new followers and open a tweet window with a pre-filled message ready to be tweeted. The extension also saves the username of the last follower greeted, so it can continue searching for new followers from that point onwards.

The settings of the plugin allow users to customize the greetings text and set the last username greeted. It is important to note that the tweet length is limited to 140 characters, so multiple tweets might be necessary to greet all followers. If there are no new followers, the user will receive an alert.

It is worth mentioning that Twitter Thanks does not utilize the Twitter API but instead parses the HTML page. To thank more followers, users can simply scroll down their followers page to load more usernames.
