TweetDeck Account Shortcuts

TweetDeck Account Shortcuts is a free Chrome add-on developed by Masaki Kobayashi. This add-on enhances the functionality of TweetDeck by adding keyboard shortcuts to quickly select the account from which to tweet or retweet. By using the “Shift + 1” to “Shift + 0” keys, users can easily switch between their 1st to 10th Twitter accounts.

When the tweet panel is closed, this add-on creates a new tweet with the corresponding account selected. When the tweet panel is already open, it automatically selects the corresponding account for tweeting. This feature saves users time and eliminates the need to manually select the account every time they want to tweet.

Additionally, TweetDeck Account Shortcuts provides helpful tips such as using “Alt+Enter” to quote in the retweet/quote modal, in addition to the native “Ctrl+Enter” for retweeting. It also offers a workaround for the shortcut keys not working when the input area is focused, suggesting users hit “Escape” before using the shortcut key, and then hit “n” to re-focus on the input area.
