A free app for Truist bank account holders
Truist Mobile is a free banking app for Truist customers and people who used to use the SunTrust and BB&T banking apps. Check your balance, make payments, make deposits, change passwords and much more.
The app is like most banking apps, such as Capital One banking app and CANDI – Mobile Banking App. However, where most banking apps have a lighter version of their website service, this app has tried to stuff all its online functions into a single app.
Does Truist have Zelle?
Yes. In fact, this app has mostly all its online functions. The way the app is optimized is a mess, but it is a little unfairly maligned online because it does do everything it claims to do on its website. Internal transfers are almost instant, and most other transfers happen in just one business day.
Why is my login screen blank?
The first and most common reason is that the app’s security features have kicked in, perhaps because you entered the wrong password or username. Also, if your Internet signal is not perfect, it considers your device vulnerable and returns a blank screen.
A poorly optimized mess
It is very obvious how they have tried to mesh an original GUI layout with the functions of the SunTrust banking app, and they have done a very bad job of it. GUI elements are cut off, too zoomed out, or poorly placed. The interface needs rebuilding from the ground up to accommodate both the old features and SunTrust features.
Technically functional and useful
Despite its poor interface design, the tools within this online banking app are all functional and secure. The tools work, there is no lag, and your activity is encrypted. You can pay, deposit, check your accounts, and there are even light planning and insight tools.
