Train management sim for mobile
Train Station 2 is a free simulation game for mobile developed by Pixel Federation Games. It is a train simulator that has players take on the role of a railroad tycoon and it’s their mission to build and develop a city train station from the ground up.
Train Station 2 is the follow-up to Train Station: Railroad Tycoon, and features similar gameplay mechanics with other games like Train Simulator PRO 2018. It offers players a well-rounded experience from humble beginnings to the bustling train station, and all the other challenges they will face in between.
Lay down your tracks
Train Station 2 places you in the role of a would-be railway tycoon looking to make a name for yourself and build your very own railroad empire. As such, you’ll start from the bottom and lay the groundwork for the future of your train transportation network. Slowly develop and upgrade your train city to house more trains and produce various products that can be used for contracts and services.
In this game, you’ll be able to discover and collect hundreds of train engines that are based on real-life models. Some rare ones even have special traits like higher cargo capacity. Upgrade your fleet to make it more powerful and help finish contracts faster and more efficiently. Explore various cities and regions all over the world as you take on more jobs and expand your network.
What’s more, the game even hosts monthly events that you can participate in, which adds new content and perks during their run. Compete or work together with other players, and aim for the highest score in the global leaderboards. One thing to note before you begin playing is that there is no offline mode here. As such, you will need an active internet connection.
Road to success
Train Station 2 is a worthy sequel to the developer’s previous release and is just a solid train simulator overall. It offers a rather comprehensive and well-rounded experience that will have you go through the motions on your path to being a railway tycoon. The fact that its train engines are based on real-life models will be a huge bonus to train enthusiasts. Highly recommended.
