Titanic is a famous passenger ship that sank on her maiden voyage on April 14, 1912. The ship left London on March 10, 1912 and was due to arrive in New York on March 23, 1912. However, she never arrived in New York and instead sank on her way to London.

In the years that followed, many different theories were put forward as to why the Titanic had sank, and the reason for the collision that led to her sinking. However, the most likely theory is that she was struck by an iceberg and went down rapidly in the water. Theories have been varied as to the time that the iceberg was, from the latest, in March, to as early as April.

As the days passed by, more and more information was coming to light about the ship and the people who were aboard. There were issues with the ship's design, which led to questions being raised in Parliament.
