The Ocean Race: The Ultimate Team Test

The Ocean Race is a lifestyle app developed by The Ocean Race1973 SL. Since 1973, The Ocean Race has been the ultimate test of teamwork and human adventure. It has captivated the greatest sailors and served as a proving ground for the legends of the sport.

The 14th edition of The Ocean Race will be contested in two classes: the foiling IMOCA and the one-design VO65. Starting from Alicante, Spain on January 15, 2023, the race will conclude in Genova, Italy in the summer of the same year. Over a six-month period, the race will visit nine iconic cities worldwide, including a leg with the longest racing distance in the event’s 50-year history – a 12,750 nautical mile, one-month marathon from Cape Town to Itajaí.
