Scream out loud for free therapy

(that really) Boils My Piss is a free simulation video game wherein you can vent out your frustrations without much consequence. Developed by HELO100, this 3D low-poly indie game offers objects you can destroy and the ability to unleash destructive power through your voice.

Similar to WHAT THE GOLF?, (that really) Boils My Piss is a silly physics-based game that’s designed to be relaxing and cathartic despite its gameplay mechanic. It’s pretty short and only requires a microphone to work. However, there’s not much else to play with aside from one level and the replay value isn’t that great.

No need to be shy with those cords

In (that really) Boils My Piss, you play as a nameless office worker who’s itching to scream out loud. There’s no real story, as your only goal is to bring the house down, so to speak. Speaking into your microphone will cause aggressive guitar riffs to sound off from your character. These will knock objects over—and with enough maneuvering, your tiny office conference room can topple down into the void.

The game is meant to let you work out your frustrations since this kicks off “primal scream therapy”—which actually helps in relaxation. It operates like One Hand Clapping, but it’s not too annoying to play since you don’t need to hit low and high notes here. Depending on your mic’s capabilities, simply speaking is enough—and you can even just blow into or tap your mic.

However, while it’s easy to play, there’s not a lot you can do in the game. There’s only one level available. Completing it will prompt you to go back to the menu, where you can try again. That level is also pretty small. Additionally, the game’s performance isn’t always the best. Sometimes, your microphone won’t work and the game freezes. Plus, the menu’s loud volume can’t be changed.

Could use some more fixing

All in all, (that really) Boils My Piss is a nice little vocal game you can try out if you want your screaming to matter. It’s easy to play and there’s not a lot required aside from a working microphone. However, it doesn’t offer much so if you’re looking for more content, this isn’t the game to play. Additionally, it has some performance issues and its interface isn’t the most intuitive.
