Tentatively – Mark Google Calendar events as “Tentative”
Tentatively is a Chrome extension developed by Geffner LLC that allows users to mark their Google Calendar events as “Tentative” or “Maybe”. This handy tool gives you the ability to indicate your availability for events and avoid unnecessary invitations.
With Tentatively, you can mark both events you create yourself and events to which you are invited as “Tentative”. This feature is not available in the default Google Calendar settings.
Using Tentatively is simple. After installing the extension, navigate to your Google Calendar and click on the Tentatively icon in Chrome. From there, select the calendar entry you want to mark as “Tentative” and wait a few seconds for the update to appear in Google Calendar. If you change your mind and want to cancel the selection, simply press the Esc key or click the extension icon again.
It’s important to note that when you first use Tentatively, Chrome will ask for permission to view and edit events on all your calendars, as well as see and download any calendar accessible through your Google Calendar. Rest assured, these permissions are solely granted to the installed extension and no information is ever shared with the developers or any other entity. Your privacy is protected.
