Tab Origin Extension for Firefox for Android
Tab Origin provides a shortcut to return to the page from which you opened the current tab.
Why Tab Origin?
Search history in Firefox is not synchronized with the Internet browser, which means it cannot be used from multiple devices to browse the web. If you opened the search results page for one website, then read it in another browser, you would not be able to read the text. This also applies to other applications, which means it is not possible to return to your browser from, for example, an email client. In order to get to the results list of a particular website, you would need to manually search for the website in your history. This would be quite an inconvenience if you have a lot of websites you regularly visit.
You may also have a list of searches in which you have previously been interested, but have not yet seen a solution to your current problem. For example, you may have a search for information on a certain topic, and you have a list of top sites for the topic. You may have opened the search results in a new tab, but now you have no idea how to get back to the search page. In this case, Tab Origin can help.
The extension is based on the concept of tab origins. Tab origins are web pages that you have visited, in which you are interested in the future.
