Unwrap a set of virtual mystery toys

Surprise Eggs: Super Joy Toy is a free app for children themed around unwrapping mystery toys. Rather than cluttering up kids’ shelves, it contains a set of collectible virtual toys that are added to a digital toy chest.

The game is very similar to other virtual vending machines like Crazy Eggs For Kids – Toy Eggs Vending Machine and Surprise Eggs. As with those titles, the point is less to present a challenge. Instead, it’s more to recreate the thrill of opening a new toy.

Virtual toy eggs

Surprise Eggs: Super Joy Toy is themed around real-life chocolate eggs that contain toys. The game opens with a narrative sequence in which the player moves forward simply by clicking the screen. Doing this covers the eggs being distributed by van, sent out via conveyer belt, and finally opened. It leaves you with a box of eggs to choose from.

Famous characters

Once you open your egg, you will obtain a virtual toy. Some of these depict famous characters like Batman, Spider-Man, or Hulk. Others represent more generic cartoon figures: a pirate, a monster, and so forth. After you’ve obtained a new toy, it will be automatically added to a virtual toy shelf.

Fun but offers little challenge

There is very little challenge in Surprise Eggs: Super Joy Toy. Some of the toys need to be assembled, leading to a simple jigsaw-style minigame. Beyond this, the gameplay consists of simply repeatedly tapping the screen. It was clearly designed for an exclusive audience of small children who want the pleasure of seeing their favorite characters in digital toy form.

A range of toys

Despite its simplicity, Surprise Eggs: Super Joy Toy at least has some variety in its toys. After you have made your way through the “boy’s” eggs that contain superhero figures, you can move on to the other sets, like the girl’s eggs with dolls inside.
