Experience the ER in this medical sim
Surgeon Simulator 2 is a paid simulation that lets you jump into your virtual scrub, either solo or multiplayer with 4 players, and start performing surgeries. In this medical sim from Bossa Studios, you can play in co-op or competitive plus an open sandbox Creation Mode, letting you build your own levels.
Surgeon Simulator 2 is the highly-awaited sequel to Surgeon Simulator 2013, featuring similar physics-based gameplay that could lead to some funny and awkward surgery room moments. This improved return builds on a multiplayer experience and a sandbox feature, making it more addictive than ever before.
Follow a story or play around
While most simulators like Surgeon Simulator 2 are fun and casual games with no need for story, this one takes a different path by offering a serious Story Mode. In this option, you can go solo or work together with friends to successfully transplant organs, stitch wounds, and generally make sure Bob–the game’s default patient model– survives and doesn’t bleed out in your surgery room.
However, the game isn’t limited to saving lives and making sure you don’t mix body parts up. With the fast-paced and frenzied Competitive Mode, you can play with your friends or other people online. Complete as many tasks as you can in the given time frame, and challenges vary from the technically accurate to the outright crazy. This creates a weirdly educational and enjoyable experience.
Lastly, you’re not just surgeons. You’re also the handyman who will create the stage for your surgeries in the Creation Mode. It’s a fun and relaxing experience for sandbox fans fond of building like Minecraft or Roblox. However, Creation Mode could use more straightening out as the placement of some items are glitchy, with objects flickering when you try to position them.
Play doctor alone or with friends
While surgery is a serious, life-saving profession, Surgeon Simulator 2 gives it a lighter face by letting players have a physics-based experience tinkering with the human body. Its range of tools and quests are enjoyable and realistic–often given a cartoonish, funny twist. It has different modes for a range of medical simulation games. A small glitch might be frustrating for serious builders but other than that, this game is pure fun.
