Stracker’s Loader Review
Stracker has been in the MMO game for a few years now, and during this time it has played host to many quality modifications. For those who are unaware, Stracker is actually a hosting service for a number of online game modifications and tools. Since I am a big fan of this type of service (for both free and paid), I decided to download and review Stracker recently. I have to say, it is by far one of the best and most used mods on my server. Before going further, I’d like to mention that this review is based purely on my own personal use, and as such my opinions may not be shared by other people using the Stracker system. If you are considering downloading and using a Stracker server mod, please keep in mind this review may not be entirely truthful or biased.
Stracker has three main categories of its mods; Quest Enhancers, Gameplay Tweaks, and Monster Hunter Add-ons. The main purpose of the Quest Enhancers category is to provide various types of quest givers, including objectives, quests, mob locations, and more. As for the Gameplay Tweaks, these are mostly aimed at increasing the viability of lower level characters and increasing the overall efficiency of this game. Lastly, there is the Monster Hunter Add-on’s which, as the name would indicate, are made to add new creatures, loot, and events to the game. The purpose of this last category is to improve the content produced by the game, as well as implement a variety of new strategies.
All of Stracker’s Loader’s categories have a few requirements before installation. At the end of this Stracker review, I had listed and pointed out the most important requirements needed to properly install the mod. Only after this point do you need to make sure the Stracker Installer works with your game version. I tested the Stracker Loader on both Windows Vista and Windows XP and found no problems. Overall, this is a great mod that will make any experienced or casual monster hunter much more effective.
