Track your favorite sports stats
Statbook (formerly known as Baseball Statbook) is a simple but powerful, stat-keeping tool for any sport with built-in templates for baseball, softball, basketball, soccer and now football and volleyball.
Statbook is ideal for fans or athletes that want to monitor their performance. You can create a category for just about anything meaning its very flexible although templates are the best way to get going and then you can add your own categories afterwards. As you build your stats, you can share them in HTML format via e-mail although there are few other Export options such as Excel although you can export and import from Statbook to your iPhone.
Categories are very thorough in the templates. In the baseball and softball template for example, pre-defined categories include Lineup, Overall (All Games) Batting, Fielding & Pitching Statistics. There are also Box Scores (Batting, Fielding & Pitching), Individual Players Stats (Batting, Fielding & Pitching) and Pre-season and Post-Season statistics (Overall, Batting and Pitching). There are a number of “Styles” to change the colors, fonts, formatting and overall look of your reports.
Statbook has no way to dynamically update scores in real-time so you have to enter every new result manually which can be very time consuming if your following lots of teams or sports.
Overall, Statbook is a powerful application for sports stats fans to get detailed readouts of their own or their team’s performance.
