Free ghost hunting equipment sim
Spirit Box Ghost EVP P-GB11 is a free-to-use simulation tool from Marcus Ferron. This slight horror experience simulates the popular P-SB11 Spirit Box that sweeps radio frequencies for detecting paranormal entities. As such, the interface perfectly resembles its real-world counterpart. Pressable buttons and clickable switches make for an immersive experience.
As a simulation, Spirit Box Ghost EVP P-GB11 doesn’t work like the real thing. You will hear mostly static, with a couple of eerie voices thrown in, making the experience unexpectedly creepy. Try it out with Real Ghost Detector or Paranormal Ghost Detector.
Your virtual spirit box
Spirit Box Ghost EVP P-GB11 is based on the P-SB11 Spirit Box, which is a device known as a ghost box. This paranormal research device is essentially radio equipment that has a frequency scanner. Ghost boxes are designed to detect electronic voice phenomena (EVP) that are often interpreted as voices from the other side. This simple-looking device inspires the look and feel of this Ferron app.
It has small buttons for a variety of features, most of them accompanied by an indicator light. You can switch between AM and FM frequencies or choose between Forward and Reverse. It also has a couple of helpful features such as teaching new users how to use the app, as well as the option to permanently remove ads, for a fee.
Until you make the purchase, get ready to have your experience interrupted at every turn by those pesky ads. They are usually full-screen, with some of them unskippable for longer periods. Other than that, it doesn’t really work like the original thing. With that out of the way, this app could use a better variety of the supposed spirit voices to make it enjoyable for longer.
A fun paranormal sim
With an accurate-looking ghost box right on your mobile device, Spirit Box Ghost EVP P-GB11 is a fun app. Whether you’re an amateur ghost hunter or simply curious about how it operates, this is your best opportunity. Visually speaking, it aims for realism and accuracy, with all the analog switches and their corresponding indicator lamps. Aside from the frequent ads, it’s a fun little tool.
