Spell Research Addon Features – What Does Spell Research Mean With This Addon?
Spell Research is one of the more daunting aspects of playing ESO or any MMO game that I have played. The vanilla game had me running around like a headless chicken with my every hat off while trying not to bump into any annoying critters. There are some amazing spells in the game, but they just take so long to learn, so I was forced to spend most of my time grinding or farming for spells. I’m still working on my first character at level 10, I have to get past that point before anything else. Anyhow, this isn’t the entire story, which is great, because this mod is turning me into a spell research fanatic. This new system to research and find spells is developed by IronDusk 33 and he has put a lot of work and time into it.
I have been researching the various alchemy archetypes since the beginning of vanilla (a very long time). My goal is to get every single spell in the game with either an alembic, dagger, staff, wand, or dagger in combination. Spell Research is harder to do than crafting potions and foods, because food/cooking recipes require an analytical skill that can be hard to reach, which is why you have to analyze liquids before you can create them.
The new system also provides raw ingredients for potions and food/cooking recipes. To use these raw ingredients you have to produce them first, which is why you have to think about what you are doing while creating the potion or food. When creating potions/food you have to think about the recipe and the skill required to produce the product, because if you’re not an expert at potion making then it can be difficult to produce high-quality products. Spell Research is just one of the many new crafting systems that will be introduced with Skyrim, so we will have to wait and see what other changes and improvements come with the game. I am looking forward to seeing all the new stuff that will be added in this new expansion!
