First-person stealth/adventure role-playing game
Snaccoon is a unique single-player RPG that allows players to take on the role of a raccoon in desperate search of food. Users will be required to explore various environments, solve challenging puzzles, and avoid being detected.
Snaccoon is similar to other interactive games such as Stray in terms of how players will need to rely upon their own animal-based skills if they hope to emerge victorious eventually. However, a non-linear storyline provides an additional sense of freedom, and this aspect will determine the ultimate outcome.
Hand-drawn graphics
The graphics associated with Snaccoon provide a decidedly personal touch, as they were all created by hand. This style also offers smooth and streamlined visual aesthetics, allowing users to become fully immersed in the plot.
Numerous environments to explore
The raccoon will have to discover several different levels and travel to challenging locations in search of a snack. Players are also required to steal items, such as mobile phones, in order to discover when foods are hidden.
A combination of perspectives
While this is predominantly a first-person RPG, there are also times when a third-person perspective is provided. Players are also provided with an impressive number of cutscenes, as well as the ability to view the actions of the raccoon from a top-down point of view. This helps to add a sense of visual depth to the package as a whole.
An innovative and unique concept
Snaccoon is quite distinctive in relation to the gameplay itself. While it shares some escape-oriented elements in common with other platforms, such as Ib, its cartoonish flavor and generally tranquil atmosphere are suited for players of all ages. Note that future updates are likely to occur on a regular basis.
