Slap and Run is a free mobile arcade game developed by Voodoo Games. It is a fun casual game, where players will slap pedestrians they pass by. The catch, these pedestrians will try to retaliate. You have to run away to avoid them.

Besides running from an angry mob, Slap and Runs also has obstacles that you need to avoid as you run. At the end of each round, you will earn coins that you can use to buy power-ups. However, note that the game is not playable offline. And as it is free, expect lots of ads. 

How do you play this game?

Slap and Run has simple mechanics. As mentioned, the goal is to slap as many pedestrians as you run. The more people you hit, the higher the score you earn. However, the people you slapped will wish to retaliate. You will have to run from them as you try to hit more people. Additionally, there are also obstacles on your path that you also need to avoid.

The controls are easy as you only need to swipe left and right to maneuver your character. Although, it’s a little sensitive that a simple swipe will make your character swerve. At the end of each round, you will earn coins depending on the number of people you slapped. There are also score multipliers that depend on how strong you kick the person at the end of the level.

Like other arcade games, Slap and Run comes with multiple levels. However, each stage will have the same design with little to no increase in difficulty. This lack of gameplay variety makes the game boring as you play longer. It also doesn’t help that the app comes with tons of ads. It even prompts you to watch videos to earn extra coins. Is the game good?

Slap and Run is a fun little game that you can play to pass the time. The mechanics are easy to understand, and the controls are simple. However, despite having multiple levels, there isn’t much variety in the gameplay. The whole game is also not that challenging.
