Superbike racing sim for PC
SBK 22 is a premium racing title for PC from developer Milestone S.r.l. It is a motorbike simulator that lets players experience riding some of the most powerful superbikes in the world. They can test their skills in the official 2022 WorldSBK championships taking place globally.
Compared to other racing franchises like MotoGP 20 or MXGP PRO, SBK 22 is the only racing tournament that hosts a variety of custom-tuned superbikes from some of the most renowned and high-performance motorcycle makers in the world. They can experience the thrills of the sport through the extensive career mode.
Return of the SBK series
When talking about motorbike racing, the MotoGP championship is the most popular event known around the world. It hosts thrilling races with some of the most advanced machines made from the ground up. Enter the Superbike World Championship, also known as SBK or WSBK, a tournament made specifically for custom-tuned production bikes that enthusiasts know and love. If you’re one of them, SBK 22 is a game for you.
As its name suggests, this will take you through the 2022 season of the Superbike World Championship. Take your pick from among 24 riders as you take on and test your skills across 12 stages. Start your journey with career mode as you make a name for yourself. Increase your reputation, join top teams, and hire a professional support team to help you rise through the ranks.
It provides a realistic and challenging experience with the help of an in-house neural artificial intelligence system called A.N.N.A. Alternatively, you can engage in friendly competitions through online multiplayer. However, if you’ve played any of the developer’s recent MotoGP releases, the game feels more like a re-skinned version, which is a letdown considering it’s the first release for the series after more than a decade.
Mixed bag
After a decade, a new game for the SBK series has finally arrived. However, it feels like MotoGP with a different skin and nothing more. It’s a shame that there wasn’t more innovation put into this release. It’s still great, but it will be a little underwhelming if you’ve played the developer’s other recent titles. If you’re new to the whole series, though, it’s a non-issue.
