Trick Shot!
Throwing a ball, having it bounce off multiple surfaces, and land exactly where you intended it to, is possibly one of the most satisfying experiences you can have. Now you can do it in virtual reality.
Puzzles and Skill
Arguably a bit more tech demo than game, Rubber Ball VR does have a bit of an addictive nature to it. “Just one more go.” Ostensibly, the aim is to get your rubber ball into the target area. As you progress from area to area, the route to that target area gets more and more complicated. You will need to employ both your puzzle solving skills, and your hand-to-virtual-eye coordination to work out where to throw the ball and then successfully do it. Nailing the shots is very satisfying. Unfortunately, that’s all there is to it. The graphics are very basic, adding to the “tech demo” feel. You can attempt to beat your own scores with further plays, but little else.
Good At What It Is
Addictive, fun, great at what it does. Unfortunately, it doesn’t actually do a whole lot. The graphics could be a lot better. The game could have more depth, such as other modes. In general Rubber Ball VR could use more polish. But it’s free to play, so it’s definitely worth your time.
