Complete RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 game bundle
RollerCoaster Tycoon 2: Triple Thrill Pack is a premium simulation title for PC developed by Chris Sawyer Productions. It is the complete game bundle for the popular roller coaster tycoon release of the same name. It features the base game, as well as the two expansions that came out for it.
Compared to more recent releases like RollerCoaster Tycoon Adventures or RollerCoaster Tycoon World, RollerCoaster Tycoon 2: Triple Thrill Pack retains the nostalgic pixel graphics the series was initially known for. This bundle serves as the definitive experience for newcomers and returning long-time fans alike to enjoy.
The definitive experience
The RollerCoaster Tycoon series is a pioneer in the construction and management simulation game genre with a loyal following. It offered open-ended gameplay that let players build their dream amusement park and fill it with all kinds of rides and attractions they want. Recent releases have veered away from its retro pixel aesthetic, but there’s RollerCoaster Tycoon 2: Triple Thrill Pack for nostalgia lovers.
This sequel bundles the base game with its two expansions, Time Twister and Wacky Worlds, for the complete experience. Choose from 25 Six Flags Coasters and Five Six Flags Parks challenges, each one based on real-life locations. Use the Roller Coaster Designer to build unique structures with all twists and turns, complete with various themes like Caribbean Pirates, Wild West, and more.
To help you build your dream amusement park, there are over 150 different rides and attractions to choose from to help distinguish your brand and the experience you’re offering to visitors. Sadly, despite being such an old game, with very modest requirements, the game is plagued with so many technical issues that prevent players from opening it or result in crashes all the time.
An unfortunate nostalgia trip
RollerCoaster Tycoon 2: Triple Thrill Pack set out to offer players a nostalgic trip going back to its roots, with solid gameplay and retro looks to round out the experience. Unfortunately, the execution is less than ideal and leaves a bad impression filled with issues and difficulty just opening the game itself. Until all its problems are resolved, it’s hard to recommend it in its current state.
