RoadWeather: A Weather App for Norwegian Roads

RoadWeather is a free lifestyle application for Android users that displays weather data and camera pictures from the Norwegian Public Roads Administration’s measurement stations. It is developed by Scanmatic AS, a supplier of sensors, data logging, and communication, and is an adaptation of the HidacsApp, Scanmatic’s general mobile app for presenting all types of measured data.

The app is designed to provide users with weather information from the measurement stations located throughout Norway. The data presented in the app is made available by the Norwegian Public Roads Administrations through “Norsk lisens for offentlige data (NLOD).” The app is easy to use and provides real-time weather and camera images of the roads.
