A motivational add-on to help you quit smoking
Quitomzilla is an unusual Firefox plug-in that doesn’t add new functions or improve the browser in any way. If anything, it improves you, the browser user.
If you’re trying to quit smoking but nicotine patches and chewing gum are not enough, maybe Quitomzilla can help you. This add-on for Firefox and Thunderbird is designed to support you in your personal fight against the addiction, with a powerful weapon: motivation.
Every time you browse the web with Firefox, Quitomzilla will display an icon in the bottom right corner where you can check how much time you’ve spent without smoking, and how much money you’ve saved as a result.
If you use Quitomzilla with Thunderbird, you’ll be able to attach the message as a signature to all your outgoing emails. The add-on can also be configured to display a message of praise every time you reach a given milestone.
Though Quitomzilla can’t really make you quit smoking if you don’t have the necessary discipline, a little motivation from time to time never hurts.
