QALY: ECG Interpretations
QALY: ECG Interpretations is a free lifestyle app available on iPhone. This app allows users to have their electrocardiograms (ECGs) read by certified cardiographic technicians within minutes. It is designed for individuals who may have irregular heartbeats or inconclusive ECG results.
With QALY, users can have their ECGs analyzed by experts trained to identify palpitations and abnormal heart rhythms such as Afib, SVT, PVC, PAC, PR Interval, QT Interval, and more. The app supports ECG data from various devices, including Apple Watch, Fitbit Watch, Withings Watch, KardiaMobile, and others.
Developed by Stanford engineers and physicians, including Dr. Marco Perez, an Associate Professor of Medicine and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiologist at Stanford, QALY has gained popularity among heart-conscious individuals. The app has received positive feedback from users who have been able to identify and address potential heart conditions with the help of QALY’s expert ECG interpretations.
QALY offers peace of mind by providing clarity on inconclusive ECG results and identifying irregular heartbeats. Users can also view their PR Interval, QRS Interval, and QTc Interval on their ECGs, all analyzed by expert EKG readers. Additionally, QALY allows users to share reports with their doctors, cardiologists, or electrophysiologists for further consultation.
Please note that the QALY app integrates with the Health app and is not available on iPad. The app does not practice medicine or provide medical services, but rather serves as an informational and educational resource. It is important to seek immediate medical attention in case of a medical emergency and not rely solely on electronic communications or the QALY app.
