Cute 3D farming sim game for PC
Pumpkin Days is a premium simulation game for PC developed by Pumpkin Interactive. It is a 3D farming sim that lets players play how they want. In it, they will help a town prevent factory construction from happening by cultivating the land with various plants and animals.
Similar to My Time at Portia or My Time at Sandrock, Pumpkin Days also offers a well-rounded life sim experience. Through it, players will be able to go through the motions, from tilling and cultivating their land to building supporting structures, and even breeding all kinds of animals on their farm.
Fight the big corporation
Pumpkin Days lets you choose from three distinct locations, namely the tropical Wahoo Beach, the river town of Pumpkinvale, or the snowy peaks of Diamond Falls. Each boasts unique environments and is home to over 30 residents you can meet and interact with. The story follows your quest to discourage Jounce Corp from building a new factory in your hometown by filling it with abundant plant and animal life.
The game lets you go about it in any way you want. You can start by building your home with various paint colors, flooring, and walls. Then, experiment with over 90 crops and more than 60 types of flowers to fill your land. From there, raise and breed animals or fish to help you produce various commodities that you can sell or use to cook 600-plus recipes.
There are also crafting, mining and bug catching to add to your list of activities. Have a friend help you via multiplayer co-op or compete on who can build the better farm. Taking a break from all the work, you can socialize and date various characters to find love and raise a family of your own. Unfortunately, the game suffers from poor optimizations that result in frequent crashes.
Bring life back to the town
If you’re into life sim games, Pumpkin Days is a solid option to consider that offers you a staggering amount of activities to do. From farming and raising animals to fishing and crafting, and even mining, it offers a well-rounded experience. Add to that trying to find love and having a family, and you’ll have your hands full throughout. Give this one a try.
