App for downloading stock photos and videos
Pexels: HD+ videos & photos is a free photography app providing stock images and videos. Content can be filtered by orientation, size, or color. Unfortunately, you can’t filter out photographers. You can set an image as a wallpaper, or import it to Canva to add it to your brochures and infographics.
If you’re a stock photographer, you can showcase your work on Pexels and meet photographers from all over the world. It boasts a leaderboards system that features photographers with the most views of all time or in the last month. Pixabay and Flickr are great options as well.
Find any photo or video
Stock photos are used in websites, marketing campaigns, and many more. Thankfully, you can find plenty of those in Pexels: HD+ videos & photos. It features more than one million stock images and videos of various themes—be it animals or flowers. Images and videos can be downloaded to your device or featured on your Instagram Stories. You also have the option to share videos on Facebook Reels.
On the other hand, the heart and banner icons allow you to like and add your favorite media content to your collection, respectively. The latter functions like a photo or video album, so your collection must include a name as well as a short description. When the magnifying glass icon is tapped, you can join challenges, browse categories, check out upcoming meetups, and many more.
In addition, it features trending photographers you can follow at any time. You can read blogs written by staff and content creators alike. There are some drawbacks, though. For instance, you can’t filter by content creator or edit the name and description of your collections. These features can help improve ease of use. Sometimes, the program generates search results unrelated to your search query.
Excellent choice for users
Pexels: HD+ videos & photos contain a plethora of high-resolution images and videos of various categories, with the option to download or add them to your collection. The collections, though, can’t be edited—which is unfortunate. You can follow photographers from all parts of the world and join in-app challenges, too. Before downloading this app, do note that the search results it generates can be irrelevant to your query.
