It automatically scans on installation, which is where you see the first problem – the trial version may find problems on your system, but it doesn’t allow you to remove them. As with all security suites, you need a long period to really test them. On the surface, however, PC Tools Internet Security looks very promising, with excellent configuration options, password protection and plenty of options that don’t always come as standard.
