NWT Reading: A Bible Reading Schedule App
NWT Reading is a free app developed by SearchWork.org that provides a Bible reading schedule of the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures of Jehovah’s Witnesses. The app offers several reading plans, including sequential, in the order the Bible books were written and chronologically as the events took place. It also allows users to select the reading speed or to read without a certain end date.
One of the new features of the app is that it supports reading the Bible in all available languages of the complete New World Translation, including sign languages. The app keeps track of the reading and shows the number of days ahead or behind the schedule. It also shows dates with key events in the chronological plan and locations mentioned in each section, and where to find them in the brochure “See the Good Land”.
The user interface is available in eight languages, including English, French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Romanian and Spanish. The app supports Bible reading in over 200 other languages, including sign languages. However, the feature to open scriptures in the JW Library® app is currently broken in Android 12 or newer. The app is a useful tool for Jehovah’s Witnesses who want to follow a structured reading schedule and keep up with their Bible reading.
