Niantic Campfire: The Ultimate Social App for Niantic Explorers

Niantic Inc. has launched a new social app called Campfire that promises to help Niantic Explorers explore new people, places and experiences around them. This free app is designed to provide a one-stop-shop for all in-game activities, meetups, DMs, and Friends list management.

The app is available on the iPhone platform and is categorized under Social & Communication with a subcategory of Social Networking. It will be available to all Niantic games and players globally soon. Users can stay up-to-date with the app’s availability in their region by following Niantic’s social channels.

Campfire offers several features to enhance the social experience of Niantic Explorers. Users can discover and share content, coordinate at any gym or raid, and connect with nearby Communities by scrolling around the map. Additionally, the discover page in the Communities tab allows users to join new communities, coordinate events, and meet new players. Finally, users can easily add and manage their Friends list across all Niantic titles, share their location, post photos, and chat with their friends across any Niantic game.
