Screensaver featuring photos from National Geographic
National Geographic is one of my favourite magazines, and a big part of the title’s appeal has always been its photography. Whether it’s pictures of wild animals in action or shots of remote tribes going about their business, you’re always guaranteed to find something remarkable to look at within the pages of the National Geographic magazine.
Now you can enjoy some of these incredible shots on your desktop thanks to this rotating screensaver, which boasts a collection of interesting images from the world of science and nature. Unfortunately, the images are of a low resolution, meaning that you can’t really enjoy them on a large format display. However, at a resolution of 800×600 the pictures look OK.
This screensaver includes a selection of images from National Geographic magazine. It is one of the world’s largest not-for-profit educational and scientific organizations. Its interests include geography, archaeology and natural science, the promotion of environmental and historical conservation, and the study of world culture and history.
Its historical mission is “to increase and diffuse geographic knowledge while promoting the conservation of the world’s cultural, historical, and natural resources. Its President and CEO since March 1998, John M. Fahey, Jr., says National Geographic’s purpose is to inspire people to care about their planet.
