myPromethean – A Mobile App for Classroom Collaboration

myPromethean is an Android mobile app designed for teachers, students, and IT administrators to interact with Promethean ActivPanel Elements and ActivPanel 9 series panels. This free app enables teachers to sign in and access their profile for the ActivPanel 9 series, while IT administrators can enroll ActivPanels into a school organization, name the panel, associate it with groups, and verify that it was enrolled successfully.

With myPromethean, students can easily share the screen from their mobile device to ActivPanels with Screen Share, without the need for sign-in. Similarly, teachers and IT administrators can wirelessly share their mobile device screen to ActivPanels with Screen Share. Additionally, teachers can access Promethean user tutorials and training materials on Learn Promethean directly through the app, depending on the language used.

It is important to note that the Promethean app requires Promethean ActivPanel Elements (Nickel, Cobalt, Titanium) series panels with Software Release (SR) 3.2 or newer. Panel sign-in is only available for ActivPanel 9 series, and Screen Share must be enabled on ActivPanel to utilize Screen Share from the Promethean app.
