What is myCOMPASS PA?
The Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare’s (DPW) Community Care Access and Supports (CCAS) Division is the division responsible for overseeing the application of the Community Care Access and Supports (CCAS) program. DPW and the County Assistance Offices (CAO) are the primary entities that process applications for CCAS.
CCAS is a voluntary, income-related public assistance program that helps people with low income and no income to obtain or maintain services such as food, shelter, health care, mental health care, and prescription drugs. The application for CCAS is managed by a state agency that makes the decisions on eligibility, including whether a person is eligible to receive benefits.

The myCOMPASS PA app is available on both Android and iOS devices, and allows you to access CCAS benefits on the go. You can quickly and easily complete your application by either:
Submitting paperwork to your local CAO.
Downloading the myCOMPASS PA app and signing in through the myCOMPASS PA app.

There are two main ways you can access your benefits from the app:

From the myCOMPASS PA app, you can view your most up-to-date application, update your address and request an HSP check, add a photo of the required documentation, view your application status, and send us a comment.
Document Collection
After completing the application process, you will be required to turn in the paperwork that was submitted to your county’s CAO.
