Moonpath to Elsweyr – An In-Depth Review
Moonpath to Elsweyr, also known as the Long Reach, is one of the major quests in The Elder Scrolls V: Dawnguard. The basic premise of this quest is that the player has to find the way to the city of Elsweyr, located on the far eastern coast of Hyrule, which is overrun by the vampires of the Red Mountain. Although this was one of the main objectives of the game, I didn’t really like the design of the Moonpath to Elsweyr, mainly because it lacks diversity and originality. However, I didn’t play the game very long, so I don’t really know how bad it is, or if there’s anything to complain about.
Moonpath to Elsweyr, unlike most other mods in The Elder Scrolls series, doesn’t have a story all its own. In fact, it’s a fairly generic story based on real life events. It’s not very original, but it does have some nice touches, such as the fact that the Khajiit character models are actually very good looking. Moonpath to Elsweyr, like many other well designed game mods, were created by fans, who obviously had a lot of fun creating the mod.
There are several quests in Moonpath to Elsweyr, which involves traveling around the desert-style interior of the island, doing a little bit of hunting and camping along the way. Some of the quests are quite challenging, especially if you want to level up quickly, while others are simple enough to do without too much difficulty, and require just a little bit of patience. I liked the Moonpath to Elsweyr ‘incursion’ quest, as it was quite difficult, and required me to use all my stealth to complete it. Overall, this mod is definitely worth checking out if you really enjoy fantasy mods or just want a bit of the old school style of games in this genre.
